Negative Points?

On the weekly leaderboards I suddenly have -22,674 points. How is this possible? What do negative points mean?

In addition to having negative points on the leaderboard, I have also lost my entire history within the app and am now showing 0 steps for today despite my jawbone up app (which I always sync with first) showing 11,418 steps for today even after repeated attempts to sync.
