Each day I win approximately 5-7 tournament battles earning around 100 points, but each night my score reverts to 1978 putting me in last place each day! What do I do?!

Your tournament score isn’t reverting, it’s just being lowered due to the points you lose whenever another player battles you and you lose. The good news is that the medal of honors you earn for each win go untouched. Keep leveling up and evolving both your heroes and your equipment, the combat power of your team will increase and you’ll start beating more of the players that battle you.

Check your battle log. What might be happening is if you are weaker people are probably picking to battle you more often to increase their score and lowers yours. In the battle log the sword is when you initiate the attack and the shield is when someone else initiates and you have to defend. I suspect you have quite a lot of shields.
