If you reach maximum friend amount - no more likes

After adding 200 friends, it says I’ve reached maximum amount of friends, but the problem is that I cannot send likes or see my friends anymore, thus also cannot remove inactive friends or do anything else related to friends. I can see just myself. After trying to add new friends, I get a message that maximum friend amount has been reached.

Happening on latest iOS.

Thank you for reaching out. You can ‘unfollow’ friends (by clicking the friend row) to reduce friend count so that you can add more friedns.
