[Pocket Plants] banned due to “exploiting the game”

I’m a longtime Pocket Plants player (Wokamon, too), but my account has suddenly been banned for “exploiting the game.” I assume that means cheating, but how would one even cheat at this game? Put my Fitbit activity tracker on a dog? Get a friend on the other side of the world to log in as me while I’m asleep?
