Knight class attack

I’m a little confused by the knight class. If your knight has points in both physical AND magical attack, do those points stack for damage or is the knight capable of only one type of damage?

my knight naturally came with only points in magic attack, but due to equipment and a passive skill she now has points in physical attack too. Will this physical attack be utilized or would I just be wasting materials upgrading her physical attacks stat?

Any help would be appreciated :sun:

Knight’s damage scales with Magic Power, but I don’t think it’s worth investing in it. Since Knight is a tank, I’d focus more on Magic Defense and HP instead.
